கண்டியில் அமைந்துள்ள லைட்ஹவுஸ் தேவாலயத்தின் ஒரு கிளைச்சபையும், ஸ்ரீலங்கா, சுயாதீனச் சபையின் அங்கத்துவம் வகிக்கும் ஸ்ரீலங்கா, மட்டக்களப்பில் அமைந்துள்ள சீயோன் தேவாலயம், 1973ம் ஆண்டில், போதகர் வேர்கீஸ் சான்டியினால் மட்டக்களப்பில் நடாத்தப்பட்ட சுவிஷேச கூட்டத்தின் மூலம் உருவானது. அந்த கூட்டங்களுக்கு உதவி ஊழியராக வந்த போதகர்.இன்பம் மோசஸ், அவருடைய மனைவி ரஞ்சி மோசஸ் தேவனுடைய தெளிவான சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டு, வீடுகள்தோரும் ஜெபக்கூட்டங்களை மிகுந்த ஜெபத்தோடான தலைமைத்துவத்தோடு ஒரு சில விசுசவாசிகளை நடத்தி வந்த ஊழியம், தற்போது போதகர். றொஷான் மெகேசனின் வல்லமையாக தலமைத்துவத்தினால் இன்று பெரிதான ஊழியமாக மாறிவிட்டது.

Zion Church Batticaloa, Sri Lanka which is a branch church of Lighthouse Church, Kandy and a member of the Fellowship of Free Churches of Sri Lanka, was founded through a crusade conducted by Rev. Dr. Verghese Chandy who was a Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Church, Kandy in 1973. What began as a Prayer Fellowship under the prayerful Leadership of Pastor Inpam & Ranji Moses with a handful of believers has grown today to may hundreds of believers by the dynamic leadership of Rev. Roshan Mahesan since 1991.
